KEVIN follows the struggle of a gay man in present day NYC who can’t shake the weight of growing up in the 90s, when code-switching meant survival. When he runs into an old college classmate, he’s pulled into the past, and forced to face the violence of his own actions freshman year, and the assault he buried in order to survive. Fun Home meets Merrily We Roll Along, this new 90-minute musical explores the intersection of queerness, gender identity, and the ambiguity of sexual assault in the gay community.
